Zeona turned 5 this past week and boy was she ready for it. She was so happy to be able to tell people that she was 5. We had a Little Mermaid party for her I of course made the cake which came out just awsome I don't know which is my favorite Care Bears or Little Mermaid. She had some friends over we did a small craft and then they went to play in the bedroom. All in all she had a great time. Most of this cake was made in advance with royal icing and then the 4lbs of chocolate that made Ariel. The fish were sugar cookies and the little white things on a stick are supposed to be bubbles but I didn't really think that they looked like bubbles.
Here is the wonderful cake just amazing it even shocked me on how good it came out.
Zeona got a Littlest Pet Shop game to play (she loves littlest pet shop and little mermaid).
Here she is ready to blow the candles out on the cake.
She finally got it Little Mermaid the movie.
Here are all the kids squeezing themselves into the tent.
I also did two other cakes this week one for a friend for her daughters Brithday and one for Willie's cousin for his birthday. Both again came out great.
This is the cake for Willie's cousin his birthday is on St. Patrick's day so he wanted it something that went with St. Patrick's day. I decided on this cake not to cut the hearts level because it would look more like a clover and it does.
The next cake is a lighthouse cake. The girl loves lighthouse and who doesn't they are really beautiful. I made a lighthouse out of a sugar cookie and then just decorated it to look like a light house. Even added some sky to it, add a little brown sugar to the bottom and you have sand.
Here is the final product. I uses fondant to make the rocks, I added black food coloring and mixed it till it gave it just a swirl and made them look like rocks. Then I placed the cookie on top and then I was done. This is a small cake it was ment for just two people so it is not a full size cake. Hope you enjoyed.
