Two fun things

So I have two things to post today. One is a project that I just finished, I made a birthday crown for my kids birthdays. Zeona's is next week so she gets to wear it first. The crown has all different kinds of colors of candle's around it and it says Happy Birthday on the front. Zeona is very happy about her birthday coming up.

The next story I have is about Syndl. Her class is learning about plants so today she brought home grass seed soil and a nylon stocking. The instuctions were to make a grass head guy so this is what Syndl is doing and hopefully grass will grow out of his head. We glued googly eyes on and colored a nose and mouth, Syndl added a mustache.

Here Syndl is putting the seed in the nylon stocking. We had to cut the bottom four inches to put the dirt and seeds.

Next we add the dirt.

After we add the dirt we tie a knot in the stocking to make a ball shape. Then we added the face but I forgot to get pictures of that.

Earlier that day we went to the store to get a yogurt so that we could use a the cup for the water, so Syndl got a little treat out of it to. Syndl is now putting tail side down in the cup which has about 1 1/2 to 2 inches of water. So hopefully within a week or so we have grass growing on his head.
